Our Story

Rescued by Hand, Cherished for Decades

✦

Relic Revivals began at a flea market, with one tarnished spoon and a simple question: what if beautiful things never had to be forgotten? Founded by Chloe Looman, our small studio rescues antique silverware and jewelry — pieces generally dating from 1950 and before — and gives each one a thoughtful second life.

Every fork, spoon, and brooch that passes through Chloe's hands is cleaned, restored, and reimagined. Some pieces are returned to their original gleaming purpose; others are transformed — a Victorian spoon becomes a pendant, a 1930s fork becomes a cuff bracelet. Nothing is wasted, and every piece carries its history with it.

Sourcing

Estate sales, flea markets, and family attics — Chloe hand-selects pre-1950 silverware and jewelry with good bones and honest wear.

II

Restoration

Each piece is gently cleaned and de-tarnished, dents coaxed out, and original detail preserved — never over-polished into anonymity.

III

Repurposing

Selected pieces are cut, shaped, and forged into jewelry. Handles become ring bands; bowls become pendants. Every cut is deliberate.

IV

Finishing

A final hand-polish, hallmark research card, and careful packaging — each treasure ships with its story and estimated date.
